On the afternoon of May 8, a delegation led by Tang Yanfang, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Liu Qiaozhi, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Zhang Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiaxing University, visited GRAEFF for a special exchange on enterprise visit, job expansion and employment promotion. Dr. Wu Hao, President of GRAEFF, warmly received the delegation. Zhang Yekai, General Manager of Zhejiang Xike Enterprise Service Co., Ltd., Shao Jian, Huang Zhuwei and other relevant persons in charge from KraussMaffei Machinery (China) Co., Ltd. attended the discussion and exchange.

During the discussion, Dr. Wu Hao gave a detailed introduction to the development history, core business layout and current talent demand of GRAEFF to the delegation from the School of Foreign Languages, Jiaxing University.Dean Tang Yanfang and Party Secretary Liu Qiaozhi respectively introduced the college’s educational characteristics and talent cultivation. Dean Tang Yanfang highlighted that the college aims to cultivate high-quality foreign language talents with international vision and cross-cultural communication skills to meet the talent needs of enterprises. Party Secretary Liu Qiaozhi focused on the advantages of the two think-tank platforms, namely Jiaxing Anlan Research Center and Central and Eastern European Cultural and Economic Research Center, in supporting enterprises to go global, providing language support and intellectual support, as well as the business features of the Foreign Language Training Center in improving the cross-cultural communication ability of enterprise staff, and expressed the willingness to carry out school-enterprise cooperation.

The two sides had in-depth exchanges on cultural differences in enterprises’ global expansion, cultivation of foreign-related talents and other topics, and reached preliminary consensus on cooperation directions including graduate recruitment, internship and practical training, and language training. This exchange has built a communication bridge between the university and the enterprise, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth cooperation.

Going forward, GRAEFF will continue to deepen university-enterprise cooperation to realize joint talent cultivation and mutual benefit.
