Define


High temperature melt pressure sensor is an electronic device used to detect changes in melt pressure in high-temperature environments. They can accurately measure pressure in high-temperature environments, ensuring the stability and reliability of equipment operation. The main components of a high-temperature melt pressure sensor include the sensor chip, connecting cable, and housing. The sensor chip is the core for measuring pressure, usually composed of sensitive thin films, electrodes, and insulating materials. Connecting cables can connect sensors and measuring devices, helping to transmit pressure signals, while the housing can protect the sensor chip from external environmental influences.

Principle


The pressure of the medium directly acts on the diaphragm of the sensor, causing the diaphragm to produce a micro displacement proportional to the pressure of the medium, resulting in a change in the resistance of the sensor. This change is detected by electronic circuits and converted into a standard signal corresponding to this pressure.

Wheatstone Bridge


A device consisting of four resistors used to measure the resistance value of one resistor (the resistance values of the other three resistors are known). Four resistors form a square.

Connect one power supply to two opposing connectors, and connect one ammeter to the other two opposing connectors. When the ammeter shows no current passing through, the bridge is in a balanced state, that is, R1 · R2=R3 · R4

In the traditional high-temperature melt pressure sensor and pressure measuring probe, the zero point of the sensor will be affected by high temperature during the process from room temperature to high temperature, resulting in a large zero drift. When the pressure is measured at high temperature, this zero drift will be superimposed on the measured value, resulting in a large measurement deviation. In order to solve this problem, GRAEFF launched AIM series products. AIM series products adopt temperature compensation technology to compensate the zero drift of the product at 350℃. When the pressure measuring probe is subjected to high temperature, it can achieve close to zero temperature drift, making the measurement of AIM series sensors more accurate and stable.
